Ingredients
- 1/2 c Organic Non Glyphosate Granola
- 1tbsp Coconut oil
- 1/2 tbsp Raw Honey
- 1/2 tsp Organic Vanilla Extract
- A pinch of Redmond Real Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven – Set your oven to 320°F (160°C) convection.
- Melt the coconut oil – In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the coconut oil until liquid.
- Combine wet ingredients – Remove from heat and stir in the honey and vanilla extract until well mixed.
- Mix with oats – In a large bowl, add the rolled oats (and cinnamon, if using). Pour the warm coconut oil mixture over the oats and stir until evenly coated.
- Bake – Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, stir to ensure even toasting, and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
- Cool before serving – Once golden brown, remove from the oven and let it cool completely to crisp up.
- Serve & enjoy! – You can serve the granola with yogurt, milk, smoothie bowl, or any way you prefer!
Tips & Notes:
- When using an iron pan, check in frequently to prevent the granola from burning. When I baked at 350℉, it was way too high of heat. A darker pan cooks faster, so keep the heat low and bake slow & steady!
